I feel like it would be a smart and sensible move. It would take 5-6 years to pay off with just the new subscription cost increase.
Plus it would allow for lower operating costs for the Amazon Prime.
What do you guys think?

$Netflix (NFLX.US)$  definitely suspicious of why Ackman would announce he bought 3 million shares....To my knowledge there is no regulatory requirement to do so. His 3 million  share purchase is under the 5% SEC reporting threshold.  
Therefore, I think he's talking up his book knowing full well the announcement would create a pop in the stock " But Besides releasing its fourth-quarter results Thursday, Netflix also projected an increase of 2.5 million subscribers during the first three months ...
