$General Motors (GM.US)$ plans to begin delivering a roughly $113,000 special “Edition 1” version of the vehicle by mid-December.
President Joe Biden also made several supportive comments promoting the vehicle during a speech at the facility, including calling it “one hell of a vehicle.”
Another powerful player, $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ unveiled it's "Cybertruck" almost two years ago to the day. The electric pickup truck was supposed to be in production already, but the automaker delayed the program as it focused on growing Model Y production.
Fans are still very excited since it looks like a vehicle from the future.
The last one is the youngest rising star $Rivian Automotive (RIVN.US)$ . It started production of its R1T electric pickup truck on Sep.14. Tried to make Rivian the first to bring an electric pickup to the market, ahead of Tesla, General Motors and others. However, their product quality is now under doubt since the battery problem.
