Was it "beginner's luck", my mentor's preseptive skills or a combination of both that has triggered off my investment journey? Being a newbie, and having a minimal budgeted capital, I took his advice to buy in penny stocks $SOS Ltd (SOS.US)$, $Cenntro Electric (NAKD.US)$. Actually, to be fair to him, he did warn me the huge risks penny stocks could face, but if invested shrewdly, could prove to be potential gold mines too. Two days later, we have succeeded and that "pot of gold" has triggered off my investment journey. So that was my first encounter with the so called "beginner's luck"
By now, I realised that trading does not solely rely on "luck", because I will be out of "luck" one fine day, if I continue to trade indiscreetly without acquiring knowledge or effective strategies.
It is a journey of hard work and at times heart breaks, if I am not careful enough to detect the early warning signs of an impending bad investment. To me it is a Labour of love💖💝💞.
Gradually, I learn to read up and research on the various topics of shares' investments. I learn too, how to harness on effective techniques and
fundamentals to make sound and timely decisions. I learn about the lure of holding quality stocks like $Apple (AAPL.US)$, $Amazon (AMZN.US)$, $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ and how and when to invest in them. Most importantly, I get  to know Legends like Warren Buffet and Charlie Munger, and how to model my shares'  investments under them.
It is a tedious and sometimes challenging task, but I persevere and surprisely it remains " My Labour Of 💖💝💞. In hindsight, " luck" does play a minor part during those times when I was uncertain over very difficult alternatives between two right share investments. In this aspect "luck" seemed to have pointed me the right choice
