It was a wild Q3, so did mooer @mooboosay. The market is volatile as always. It bears risk and opportunity at the same time. How was your trading in Q3? Any lesson learned or ideas occurred? Time to look back to your Q3 trading performance! Before you start, let's take a look at how mooers reviewed their Q3 trades.
    No.1 What did you trade?
"My positions in Chinese stocks have all taken a hit; my safer positions...have been doing decently, my riskier plays...have gone to dust as of now..." @mooboo
No. 2 How did you feel?
"Glad I exited flat. The lesson probably is cheap can still be cheaper, low can still go lower, still need to develop more patience since it's showing no signs of recovery as yet." said by @GratefulPanda
"I am extremely happy with my progress" @John Allen2
"Worst mistakes made in the world of meme stock"  @GJLGJL
No. 3 What have you learned?
A lesson learned in Q3: "the right and the wrong"
"I should do more research and not only based on the news"
"I should be more patient. I got jogged out."
As @NANA123shared her experience: "See it - analyze it - plan it - trade it", and we believe one more thing should be added, that it, to REVIEW it.
"This Q3 was no different and the market was unable to beat the September Curse."
@HopeAlwaysreview what he has done right in Q3 trading. He believes that with dollar-cost averaging, he "was able to buy more of the stocks with the same capital. Most importantly, it aligns well with my investment goal of building up a high-quality stock portfolio that can withstand the test of time and any market upheavals."
Review the market, review portfolio, review trading mindset
Although you must have heard about trading psychology, you need to constantly remind yourself what your trading goal is and what you should do. @Syueebelieves a conservative practice will grand her/him a solid trading result to meet the goal. Syuee is a believer in lifetime learning, which is the spirit for all walks of life.
No. 4 What would you do next?
"Keep learning how to see the chart and P/E ratio" @102960292
"Let's hope that things will look brighter as we move into Q4!" @mooboo
As such, a basic trading review idea is formed. Review might be a bit boring, but it will definitely help with your future trading. Many the above mooers to present to us excellent ideas!!

Life is like investing, movie scenes also reflect the situations that happen in the market. I guess most of them are horror movies or comedy lol.
Let's vote for unkown reason before we start eating popcorn!
Sit back and enjoy movies premiered at the moomoo community, maybe we can learn some priceless lessons through these.

CS is gradually putting pressure on the shorts, and the trading volume is getting dry. I will wait. What to do next 90days short position, another tens of millions of trading volume, it is estimated that it will be more than 27%~

Covid has been in our lives for almost 2 years. We still can't travel around and hold parties like we used to. I wish for things to change every day before I sleep.
Although vaccines are not 100% effective, they have helped a lot. $Moderna (MRNA.US)$, $BioNTech (BNTX.US)$, $Pfizer (PFE.US)$and other vaccine makers have delivered tons of vaccines. MRNA and BNTX have gained around 200% this year. Did you catch the ride?
I see today that a Japanese drugmaker, called Shionogi, is developing easy-to-take Covid pills to combat mild cases. $Merck & Co (MRK.US)$ is also doing the same thing. But can they actually change the game?If so, will the drugs send Merck higher? Are you positive about such biotech companies and why?
Also, don't forget to check out the winners for 9.27-10.3!

Tough week huh? We've been through a terrifying drop and some unclear upward trend this week. To deal with fear, positive vibes are definitely needed.

A wise person once said: "No matter the situation, always wear a smile."That's the approach that he takes to life, and that's how he approaches everything.
When facing a difficult situation, people should always face it with positive energy. As long as one keeps smiling, things always get better. There's no exception even in the stock market right?

How's your portfolio doing? Mine is downSOS!!!
Tech stocks led the $Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC.US)$lower 2.83% yesterday with $Meta Platforms (FB.US)$, $Microsoft (MSFT.US)$and $Alphabet-A (GOOGL.US)$losing more than 3%. $Amazon (AMZN.US)$fell more than 2%. I guess the tech sector has to bleed as bond yields surge.
    I saw oil&gas gaining. $Schlumberger (SLB.US)$gained 2.4% yesterday.
Do you think it's time to buy the dip in tech or buy oil&gas instead? Why?

On Wednesday, the Fed said taper may come soon if the economy continues to progress, but didn't announce the specific dates.
This should be the biggest news for the financial market. But wait... what is taper and why is it so important?
    What is taper?
Before talking about taper, we should know what QE is —— the opposite of taper.
When the economy is slagging, the central bank tends to lend more money to the market. This aims to increase consumption and investment, which is a good way to take the sluggish market back to normal.
To lend money out, the central bank can lower interest rates or purchase assets such as bonds from the market. These measures are summarized as QE (Quantitative Easing).
Therefore, the opposite of QE —— taper, is taking money back to the central bank, by raising interest rates or decreasing assets purchases.
With rising interest rates, people who are using leverage may choose to sell their stocks because they can't afford the high cost of borrowing. As more people sell, the stock price will fall. As a result, the stock market may react negatively to taper.
    How about this time?
On Wednesday, the Fed said the U.S. central bank could begin scaling back asset purchases in November and complete the process by mid-2022. However, after the Fed's announcement, US stocks staged a comeback from their September rout, which is a proof of strong market confidence.
