I’ve only bought ETFs when cobtributing to a retirement fund (IRA/401k), so that’s my main experience so far. I try to look for funds with low expense ratios so most of the earnings can be reinvested and grow.

nothing in particular happened this month (neither yood nor bad)- i make long term hold plays/try for dividend reinvestment so as long as they’re still paying, i’m good

every bit helps- i favor dividend payers and any increase in value is an extra boost

April was a little sluggish for me but my investment horizon is long term. I look for companies with dividends and plan to hold positions for years, so the lower prices meant I could pick up some more shares of the stocks I feel good about at a bit of a discount this past month.
