OK, I'll point out an interesting correlation between number of short shares returned, FTDs (Failure to Deliver = naked shorts) and the huge price jumps:
See what happened on 2nd June, the huge price jump from $30 to $72? 2.7 million FTDs were due to be force bought and returned after T-35 days, and combine that with FOMO and 30 million short shares returned and you get the picture.
Fast forward to this Friday, when price jumped from $32 to 39. About 7 million short shares were returned, but that still leaves 75 million left...
