Snowflake Inc Class A, a cloud-based data warehousing company, announced that its financial results for the 8-10 month period (Q3) of 2024 showed a 28% increase in revenue. Although the loss expanded, the company's stock price is trading around $152.75, approximately 18.3% higher than the closing price in regular trading on the 20th.
The profit and loss for the August-October period is a loss of 0.3243 billion dollars (compared to a loss of 0.214.3 billion dollars in the same period last year). Earnings per share is a loss of $0.98 (compared to a loss of $0.65). Analyst financial estimates compiled by FactSet were a loss of $0.97 per share.
Revenue was $942.1 million, a 28% increase from the same period last year, exceeding analysts' financial estimates of $899.3 million.
Product revenue was $900.3 million, surpassing analysts' financial estimates of $848.5 million.
For the November 24th to January 25th period in 2024, the expected product revenue is estimated to be between $906 million and $911 million, a 23% increase. Analysts expect $881.7 million.
