Finally!! This stock has been sitting in my portfolio for a while (since Livent days). Bought this as a proxy play to EVs and then came the oversupply of Lithium (Thanks to China). At one point, this was so red that I had written off this stock. With the news of an acquisition bid from $Rio Tinto (RIO.US)$, hopefully, this dead cat can finally be resurrected.

Finally done with the very intense paper trading competition! Oh my! This is more fun than any of the extreme sports that I have done!
Below are some thoughts and learnings that I have after the competition:

I always jokingly tell my friends that the only way to make a stock go red is to buy it.
Well, this whole episode reminded me of my surfing lesson. You need to learn how to spot the swell early enough to get ready to ride the waves. If you get up too late, you will just get caught in the waves and get “washing machined”, which in my case, I got tumbled dry.

Oh my gosh, what a roller coaster ride! I have never done trading before and the only candles I have are scented candles that I received as Xmas presents🕯️
So what went wrong?
1. As the song goes “only fools rushed in”. I took multiple positions too quickly and when the market turn out of favour, I didn't react fast enough. so lesson learnt here: Dont get married to your position...
