On the moomoo daily quiz, I found the questions to be straightforward and logical. However, I struggled with the stock prediction questions, often relying on guesswork. So far, I've accumulated 270/300 points.
For the weekly challenge, I initially adopted a conservative approach, focusing on ETFs like DIA, VOO, SPY, and SCHD. After a positive first week, I was tempted to increase risk by following a friend's lead and investing in individual US stocks, includi...

First lets get the daily quiz thing out of the way - the answers were usually quite logical and simple to answer, but most of the time if I failed at a guess, it's related to the stock direction prediction. All in all as of 23 Oct 2024, I've gotten 210 out of 270 max points, I also missed the first day of the daily quiz.
Now, time for the main topic. I basically failed the weekly challenge.

The market in Q3 is unpredictable and I experienced some downturns. My strategy is still the same that focus on index ETF like QQQ, S&P 500 and high dividend ETF like SCHD.
Even though I didn’t gain unexpected gain in this period, my portfolio in this year still remain positive returns with the strong performance from ETF.
For the future strategy I’ll continue stay with my current portfolio and will look for other sectors ETF to diversify my portfolio and...

Hey mooers! 🐮 This quarter was a wild ride for me, but overall I’m happy with my performance!
Strategy shifts: In Q3, I experienced a slight dip in August and September due to market volatility. My strategy was to offset these losses by steadily investing a predetermined amount each month. I view this as a long-term investment strategy for my retirement, so I’m not overly concerned about short-term fluctuations.

I started investing in ETF because they are low cost and simple compared to trading individual stock. From my experience, trading stocks requires constant attention to news and market movements, which can be stressful and require time to study. With ETFs, my money can be diversified across various assets, which makes it safer for me and means I don’t have to check each stock frequently. I mostly follow index ETFs like QQQ, S&P 500, DIA, and SCHD to ensure my money is w...

My style of investing into ETFs is to fire and forget - I "diversify" by spreading my funds into 3 US ETFs and just putting a bit more money that I can lose per month.
Who knows, if i can maintain this trajectory, it'll probably pay off in the very long term.
