In 2022, the U.S. stock market was in turmoil, but in the midst of the storm, 92-year-old Warren Buffett still wears the "crown" - in the year the S&P 500 fell 18.1%, Warren Buffett's Berkshire gained 4% positive return, for the stock god Warren Buffett is still "a good year".
On a longer timeline, from 1965-2022, Berkshire's annualized return was 19.8%, significantly outpacing the S&P 500's 9.9%, for a cumulative ...

1. What is the secret to your xx% monthly return? Buy more?
Discipline and patience. I have a plan, and I stick to it, ans refine it as when necessary. I do not make the mistake of becoming greedy and abandoning my plan.

I started trading in moomoo in October 2021 because of the free Apple share. Initially I find the apps quite difficult to use so it took me a while to figure out.
After 2 months of buying and selling, i finally grasp the idea that patience is the key!! Manage to average down some stocks and gain positive profit too! Buy in at low price plus shifting of portfolio mix to ensure sustainability too! Knowing when to cut losses is always critical (which I'm still trying to figure out).
I think that is one huge excitement for the last quarter of the year! Newbie to the trade but profitable as at today! Woohoo! Way to go!! Gambateh!!
Thanks to moomoo for the education video too! Mooooooo.... 😉

$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ Musk sold another 930,000 Tesla shares, worth about $906.5 million, according to a regulatory filing on Monday. Musk has sold 12 million shares of Tesla since he tweeted on November 6 that he was reducing his stake by 10%. Excluding the shares he exercised to buy, the reduction actually reached his target of selling 10% of shares equals approximately 17 million shares. Due to Musk's buy-and-sell approach, there is still speculation about when the sale will be completed, given that Tesla shares have fallen 21% from their Nov. 4 high, entering a technical bear market.

Hi, mooers! Welcome back to MooHumor again! You guys must have been through a bumpy week.
The market was going up and down without any clue, playing with investors' feelings like a playboy. Fortunately, mooers can always learn something from every trade. The lesson taught by the recent market is that: "don't believe everything you see." Especially those things that are too good to be true.
Howard Marks's "second level thinking" may be an excellent principle to follow. Investors need to go beyond the obvious and avoid unintended consequences.
As usual, vote first plz
Let's go

Hi mooers, it's good to see you guys again in MooHumor!
It's almost the end of the year. How's your November? After a long and challenging year, are you still hanging in there? People usually face repeating patterns in life and get bored of it. Bringing a sense of ceremony to your everyday life can be a beautiful way to ignite your passion. Some mooers know how to use small rituals to bring themselves happiness. Let them show you how they celebrate their special days and memorable moment.
