What’s the difference between firing a graphic designer to have your social media use AI for graphics and a car factory buying a robotic arm to install dashboards? Where is the line between “AI” and robot? There’s really not many jobs that can be replaced by chatgpt. What about AI to catch cancers, vs a human eye straining to even hit 10% of the AIs ability to process scans?
I hear restrictions but I can’t think of any that would benefit the consumer/patient. Much of it sounds more like people wanting to keep their job, at the cost of quality for the customer/patient. Yes, humans are superior in most ways, but we can still be used to verify and make sure the AI is right; oversight is still needed, regardless. If you don’t want the apocalypse to happen.
