Rivian wants out of its exclusive agreement with Amazon for the EV maker’s electric delivery trucks, a company spokeswoman said Monday.

Why is Rivian so slow in scaling
2021 - 1000 deliveries 2022 - 22,000 deliveries 2023 - ???
On the other side we have Chinese EVs like BYD, XPENG, NIO delivering 200,000 cars yearly and they are planning to enter US in couple of years.
Are there any other pure US bases EV companies (besides Tesla and Rivian) ?

$Rivian Automotive (RIVN.US)$ GM today stated their strong earnings beat was due to supply chain issues resolving. That suggests RIvian and other car manufacturers are likely to have increased production as well since they too had mentioned supply chain issues were the culprit behind slower production numbers, not lack of demand.
