There's no escape from inflation so just got to adjust or adapt to it. My funds with dividend helps a little with bringing in cash returns but they're not going to make me Huat big big.
My strategy is just to diversify and hold for the long term in order to ride out the inflation. Broadbased exchange traded fund (ETF) will do just that for me. I'll close my eyes and sleep at night without too much worry.

Bought a stock while it was mooning because of all the hype obviously. When it came crashing, my emotions and greed got the better of me so I sold thinking I should cash out and buy low. The moment I sold, the price climbed back up again and I panicked again and ended up buying high. Learned my lesson. Will stick my plan to DCA and close my eyes and heart when necessary.
