$Virgin Galactic (SPCE.US)$
Diving 🤿 and blowing some bubbles 🫧

Observations on Ownership Transfer
I came across a post from July that emphasized the ownership of Virgin Galactic, especially a "Hold Positions" screenshot from the Simply Wall Street app. At that time, Institutional Holdings dominated, but compared to current data, significant changes were discovered:
• Retail investors hold 62% of the outstanding shares, totaling 18,143,678 shares, higher than 39.7 shares in July.
• Institutional holdings have decreased significantly, decreasing by 1.7 million shares, with the shareholding ratio dropping from 52.2% in July to the current 31.4%.
• Insiders and private companies maintain their ownership levels, with their collective holdings almost unchanged.
These data indicate a key trend: Virgin Galactic's recent dilution largely funded by retail investors.
If Virgin Galactic turns its losses into profits, institutions may buy back the stock, even doubling their holdings to regain influence. Currently, retail investors are providing funds to dilute the capital, effectively maintaining the company's survival. Ownership transfer reflects that once retail investors absorb most of the current financial risk, institutions have the opportunity to leverage growth.
The stock is currently down 97% from the IPO price, highlighting the high-risk nature of the investment. However, high risks come with high rewards. Several factors can serve as significant...
