WKY57 Discipline Turtle OP : i understand what you mean but I figured out for this type of short term option, it will be equivalent to buying the stocks itself at the dip. This is my opinion only. I prefer longer term options which eliminates out the daily volatility. Also if you look at the 2027 $4.00 put option with $1.45 interest, your net buying price is only $2.55. For 2 years away, I am quite sure Nio will have sufficient time to ramp up all production plus 5000+ swapping station by then. To me, I want to invest longer term cos I am confident of Nio. As option is leverage position, the return (1.45) versus the margin put aside for 25 months = 58% per annum.
