$Bitcoin (BTC.CC)$ $MicroStrategy (MSTR.US)$ Michael Saylor, Founder and CEO of MicroStrategy, holds more than 17,000 coins and believes they will reach $6 million. Saylor said in the interview that he has never sold any of his bitcoin holdings, and that in general, he doesn't think people should sell theirs. At the height of the dotcom bubble, Saylor once lost $6 billion in one day, so bitcoin's volatility was a piece of cake for him.
Saylor's company, MicroStrategy, currently holds 122,478 bitcoins worth about $6 billion, with an average purchase cost of about $29,861 each.

2021 is another year of violent volatility in the stocks markets globally just like 2020. All of us should therefore brace ourselves for a lot more in 2022 if this trend persists. Bitcoin has recovered most of its losses in the past week and rose back above $50,000 on Sunday. The rebound followed two days after the S&P 500 closed Friday at a level close to its all-time high level.
Trading volume across major centralized exchanges remained low over the weekend, far from the high level a week ago when the oldest cryptocurrency tumbled to as low as $42,333 on Dec 4. The subdued trading volume indicates that the price recovery will be less sustainable, meaning that it remains uncertain where bitcoin is headed once markets open in Asia.
Prices for alternative cryptocurrencies also rose: ether, the No. 2 cryptocurrency by market cap, rose above $4,100 on Sunday.
