So let’s assume Peltz’s bid fails. How likely will he rage sell his $3.6ish billion stake? Especially after a 16% climb in the resent month. Disney is on the right track finally with cutbacks to Plus and this whole ESPN experiment. Worried that an angry investor could tank the price to prove a point.
Add to that whatever the market will be doing with postponed rate cuts (if at all) and general waining sentiment.
Full disclosure: I bought a lot of the...

NVDA is $290B away from passing AAPL
NVDA added $700B in ~2 weeks
That's TSLA and BOEING's valuation COMBINED
NVDA's $2.3 trillion market cap is now larger than the ~30 other names in SOXX COMBINED (AMD + AVGO + QCOM + INTC + TSM, et al)
If NVDA continues to trade at 40 p/s, it will reach $3000+ by 2026
NVDA has still not announced a stock split
NVDA's biggest event of the year GTC 2024 is 10 days away

Only news that $AMC Apes really need to hear: The domestic box office has recovered to $2.6B+/quarter, AMC has signed big name distribution deals, and the ‘26 debt obligation has been restructured/deferred. Chuck Norris roundhousing a hedgie will be a bonus. $AMC Entertainment (AMC.US)$

I have been hearing a lot of buzz around a couple of stocks, namely SMCI and NVDA. I want to discuss what I believe is going to happen in the next two weeks if SMCI lands into the S&P 500 as it is on track to do.
I will mainly discuss SMCI in this post. As it stands, SMCI is trading at $905.48 and has a market cap of $50.65 billion USD.
Currently, SMCI is trading in the Russell 2000 (RUT). It is the highe...

I have rather large positions in Google and Apple. Wondering if anyone else is thinking of reducing their position and allocating it in other stocks or ETFs, or holding cash on the side.
Thanks for all your feedback and advice . $Apple (AAPL.US)$

I'm doing a historic deepdive into the history of Paramount's stock (PARA), which I own. All I want are the news events around the time of large moves in the stock price, e.g., 10% gains or losses.
Are there any resources for this type of data? Seems like it would be a common use case for investors looking at the last few years of data. $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ $Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC.US)$ $Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI.US)$

The stock seems relatively low in price at the moment since it's new. But based on recent earnings, it seems Arm can be the next ride on the AI wave. What do you guys think? I'm stupid and dont know how to tell from their PE Ratio if that's a good indication of any $Arm Holdings (ARM.US)$ $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$
