As someone with a full-time job, long-term investing aligns well with my lifestyle since it does not require constant monitoring of the market. By focusing on high-quality stocks with strong fundamentals that are undervalued, I can take a more passive yet effective approach to wealth building. Long-term investments are also less affected by short-term market fluctuations, which provides peace of mind during volatile periods.
That said, I do admire traders who can consistently generate income through short-term trading. To succeed, they must not only master trading strategies but also develop the psychology, discipline, and emotional control required to navigate market swings. This is an area I aspire to learn and master further, as combining both long-term investing and short-term trading can help seize opportunities and compound wealth faster.

YOHO3318 : I am particularly focused on interest rate movements in 2025, as my dividend portfolio is heavily invested in S-REITs, which are sensitive to long-term yields. While many anticipate the beginning of an interest rate easing cycle, policies under the Trump administration and resilient economic data could still influence rate decisions, adding uncertainty to the outlook.
On the other hand, the highlight of my investment and trading journey this year has been discovering the power and versatility of options. Learning how options function as a Swiss Army knife for traders and investors was truly eye-opening. I will definitely continue honing my skills in this area and exploring its potential further in the year ahead.
