$Taiwan Semiconductor(TSM.US)$TSMCIt announced today (7th) that consolidated revenue for January of this year was approximately $215.85 billion, up 22.4% month-on-month and 7.9% year-on-year, a new high for the same period in the previous year.
TSMC previously said it would release a positive message for this year's operations, indicating that the company expects healthy operating growth, and expects full-year US dollar revenue to grow quarter-on-quarter as customer inventories decline. TSMC Japan's Kumamoto plant is set to open on February 24, and production is expected to start in the fourth quarter of this year.
