DJ STMicroelectronics Could Take Hit From iPhone Production Curb -- Market Talk

0943 GMT - Apple might reduce production of its iPhone 13 for the last quarter this year by 10 million units amid supply-chain issues, Equita Sim says citing reports from Bloomberg, warning that European chip maker STMicroelectronics could take a hit in the fourth quarter. "The impact to STMicroelectronics, for which Apple is the largest customer, we believe could theoretically be circa $60 million in sales for 4Q21," Equita Sim says. STMicroelectronics shares trade 0.6% higher at EUR35.56. (mauro.orru@wsj.com; @MauroOrru94)
