Aydin Yilmaz 楼主 MrGreedy : I am new to trading, when I see the price dropping I can't help thinking of selling it, essentially, I don't havev enough research on stocks I bought and easily got overwhelmed by news and price. And there are some trategies suggest to lower the cost by selling positions and buy back in. I know I can't handle this on my level right now lol

Mark Padilla : haha taking loses is all apart of learning. You didn't lose money you gained experience. When you buy into a position without a consolidation point you can always average down to reduce ownership value. a good strategy is to buy the dip(decline: Consolidation) this is especially true when the chart shows it has a pattern of it reaching support(vertical line beneath the graph in which is typically does not pass) and then jumps back up. What you do is find a chart with this pattern and look for it to consolidate and wait for a flagpole like candle to form with volume. This will let you know that investors are in and there's a high probability it will rise. My best advice is to reach out to many of the more experienced trader here such as @KnowledgeIsPower and ask for advice/red his previous posts.
