Buy the dips sell the peaks. 10, 15, 20% gains are good gains and a good way to build up your portfolio, especially if you have little experience and little flow. Dont be shy or embarrassed about it if those are the shoes you wear right now. Most people just getting into trading on their own should start out small, dont bet the bank, dont use your rent, car payment, food money. You will lose it. Study everything, there is tons of info on you tube and the book store. Start out swing trading, that is where you are doing trades every 2 to 14 days, buy a stock when it dips and hold it until it goes back up and then sell, just get practice at doing this.
