I mainly deploy a balanced allocation of different types of ETFs to cope with market fluctuations. For instance, during a bull market, I tend to invest in ETFs that track the tech sector or growth companies, such as ARKK (ARK Innovation ETF). In times of market volatility or downturns, I shift towards more defensive ETFs like SPHD (High Dividend Low Volatility ETF) to mitigate risk and protect the portfolio from sharp declines.
