Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - April 27, 2022) - The Bitcoin Fund (the "Fund") (TSX: QBTC) (TSX: QBTC.U) is announcing that, effective as of the opening of trading on May 2, 2022, the Fund's bitcoin will be valued based on the MVIS^® CryptoCompare Bitcoin Benchmark Rate Index maintained by MV Index Solutions GmbH ("MVIS"). Currently, the Fund's bitcoin is valued based on the MVIS^® CryptoCompare Institutional Bitcoin Index maintained by MVIS. This change will make the indices consistent between that used by the Fund and that used by the 3iQ CoinShares Bitcoin ETF.
