Awantec Technology Bhd's subsidiary, Awantec Systems Sdn Bhd (ASSB), has secured a RM4.96 million contract to provide cloud computing services for climate change research to the National Water Research Institute of Malaysia (NAHRIM).

NAHRIM officially issued the letter of award to ASSB on March 1, 2024, which was accepted by ASSB on March 6, 2024.
