The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Kforce

Over the last year, we can see that the biggest insider sale was by the COO, Chief Administrative Officer & Corporate Secretary, David Kelly, for US$350k worth of shares, at about US$70.00 per share. While we don't usually like to see insider selling, it's more concerning if the sales take place at a lower price. The good news is that this large sale was at well above current price of US$61.81. So it is hard to draw any strong conclusion from it.

Insider Ownership Of Kforce

Another way to test the alignment between the leaders of a company and other shareholders is to look at how many shares they own. Usually, the higher the insider ownership, the more likely it is that insiders will be incentivised to build the company for the long term. It appears that Kforce insiders own 6.2% of the company, worth about US$72m. We've certainly seen higher levels of insider ownership elsewhere, but these holdings are enough to suggest alignment between insiders and the other shareholders.
