The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At SurgePays

In fact, the recent sale by Kevin Cox was the biggest sale of SurgePays shares made by an insider individual in the last twelve months, according to our records. That means that an insider was selling shares at around the current price of US$2.91. We generally don't like to see insider selling, but the lower the sale price, the more it concerns us. In this case, the big sale took place at around the current price, so it's not too bad (but it's still not a positive).

Does SurgePays Boast High Insider Ownership?

Another way to test the alignment between the leaders of a company and other shareholders is to look at how many shares they own. Usually, the higher the insider ownership, the more likely it is that insiders will be incentivised to build the company for the long term. Insiders own 31% of SurgePays shares, worth about US$17m. This level of insider ownership is good but just short of being particularly stand-out. It certainly does suggest a reasonable degree of alignment.
