Kerjaya Prospek Group Berhad announced that its wholly owned subsidiary has won a contract valued at RM275.3 million which involves the execution and completion of a 50-storey main building works for the proposed development of a serviced apartment in Pulau Andaman, Penang.

Kerjaya Prospek Group Berhad宣布其全资子公司中标了一项总价值为27530万马币的合同,涉及在槟城安达曼岛开发一处服务公寓的50层主楼施工和完工。

The apartment comprises 261 units with a car park and facilities floor. The construction works are scheduled to commence on 2 January 2025 and to be completed within 38 months.

该公寓共有261个单位,还配备了停车场和设施楼层。施工工程计划于2025年1月2日开始,需要38个月完成。

The contract, it said was undertaken on an arm's length basis and based on normal commercial terms, was secured from Persada Mentari Sdn. Bhd, an indirect subsidiary company of Eastern & Oriental Berhad, a company which substantial shareholders of Kerjaya have direct and indirect interests.

它表示,这份合同是根据正常商业条款以长臂关系为基础签订的,并从Eastern & Oriental Berhad的间接子公司Persada Mentari Sdn. Bhd.获得,而Kerjaya的实际股东直接或间接持有该公司股份。

Kerjaya chief executive officer and executive director Tee Eng Tiong stated, "With the addition of this project to our portfolio, the Group's total outstanding order book now stands at approximately RM4.4 billion, with solid earnings visibility over the next 4 years. As we continue to grow and solidify our position in the construction industry, we remain committed to showcase our expertise in executing large-scale projects that meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency."

Kerjaya首席执行官兼执行董事郑荣忠表示:“随着这个项目被纳入我们的组合中,集团的未完工订单总额现在约为44亿马币,在未来4年内具有稳定的盈利前景。随着我们继续在建筑行业中扩大并巩固我们的地位,我们致力于展示我们在执行符合最高质量和效率标准的大型项目方面的专业知识。”
