Kerjaya Prospek Group Berhad (Kerjaya) has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn. Bhd., has secured a significant contract valued at RM292.8 million from Mega Legacy (M) Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of UEM Sunrise Berhad (UEM Sunrise).

The awarded contract involves the construction of a 57-storey building in Mukim Batu, Kuala Lumpur, which will feature 1,126 residential units and an 8-level podium parking structure. Construction is set to commence on 17 September 2024, with an anticipated completion period of 38 months.

Kerjaya's Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, Tee Eng Tiong, expressed his satisfaction with the new contract. Tee stated, "We are pleased to receive this contract from Mega Legacy, which elevates our cumulative year-to-date contract value to RM1.5 billion and strengthens Kerjaya's total outstanding order book to approximately RM4.7 billion. This reward is expected to contribute positively to the Group over the next 3 years."

He further highlighted that the project enhances the Group's ongoing collaboration with UEM Sunrise. "This project adds significant value to our ongoing collaboration with UEM Sunrise, with whom we are currently engaged in two other residential developments. Our continued partnership with them underscores our capability and reliability to deliver on high-quality projects, further solidifying our position as a preferred contractor in the industry."
