Bursa Malaysia Slips Into Red Despite Regional Gains
Bursa Malaysia defied the generally positive trend in regional markets on Thursday, closing slightly in the red due to late selling in selected counters, particularly among financial stocks.

By 5pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) had declined by 1.49 points, or 0.09%, to 1,638.31 from the previous close of 1,639.80 on 11 September. The FBM KLCI had opened higher at 1,644.04, and throughout the day, it fluctuated between 1,637.91 and 1,649.87.
