Talkspace Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

In the last twelve months, the biggest single sale by an insider was when the Chief Marketing Officer, Katelyn Watson, sold US$254k worth of shares at a price of US$2.70 per share. We generally don't like to see insider selling, but the lower the sale price, the more it concerns us. The good news is that this large sale was at well above current price of US$2.19. So it may not tell us anything about how insiders feel about the current share price. The only individual insider seller over the last year was Katelyn Watson.

Insider Ownership Of Talkspace

Another way to test the alignment between the leaders of a company and other shareholders is to look at how many shares they own. I reckon it's a good sign if insiders own a significant number of shares in the company. Talkspace insiders own about US$12m worth of shares. That equates to 3.3% of the company. We've certainly seen higher levels of insider ownership elsewhere, but these holdings are enough to suggest alignment between insiders and the other shareholders.
