HCK To Settle RM100 Million Debt Owed To Tan Sri Clement Hii Via Share Issuance
HCK has proposed to undertake the settlement of debts owed by Global Activate Sdn Bhd, an indirect wholly-owned
subsidiary to Tan Sri Clement Hii, the Executive Chairman and the major shareholder of the property group, amounting to RM100 million through the allotment and issuance of 47,256,746 new shares at an issue price of RM2.1161 each.

The Proposed Debt Settlement is deemed a related party transaction, accordingly, the group said QuantePhi Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the Independent Adviser to advise the non-interested shareholders of HCK in relation to the Proposed Debt Settlement on whether the Proposed Debt Settlement is fair and reasonable and whether the transaction is to the detriment of the non-interested shareholders of HCK.
