Public Bank Berhad share price is down 3% in early trading, the stock is at 4.43 after it was suspended pending a major announcement yesterday. Meanwhile, LPI Capital is also down approximately 2.46% at 12.68 today.

These stocks were suspended yesterday, where a major announcement was made by Public Bank on the 44.15% stake acquisition of LPI Capital in a deal worth RM1.72 billion. Analysts are calling the deal mildly positive for the group and keeping forecasts as BUY with an unchanged TP of MYR5.40
