Theta Edge Berhad has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ZICT Technology Co, Ltd, marking a strategic partnership to drive Smart City initiatives in Malaysia. The collaboration focuses on the Ampang Jaya Smart City concession, secured by Theta Edge in July 2024, and aims to deliver sustainable, people-centric urban solutions.

The Ampang Jaya Smart City project will incorporate advanced infrastructure, smart mobility, energy-efficient systems, and improved public services, setting a benchmark for future urban developments. Both companies will also explore opportunities in Internet of Things (IoT), big data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and sustainable energy management to expand smart city capabilities across Malaysia.
