1426 ET - When investing in SPACs, investors ought to pay more attention to the track records of the management team scouting for acquisition targets than big names attached to the entities, says Matthew Tuttle, CIO of Tuttle Capital Management, which runs the SPAC and New Issue ETF. "The celebrities -- they're eye candy," Tuttle says. "At the end of the day, you gotta look who's the underlying management team." The SEC says "it is never a good idea to invest in a SPAC just because someone famous sponsors or invests in it or says it is a good investment." The SPAC and New Issue ETF is up 0.2%.
