CTS Insider Lowered Holding By 22% During Last Year
CTS Insider Lowered Holding By 22% During Last Year
Insiders were net sellers of CTS Corporation's (NYSE:CTS ) stock during the past year. That is, insiders sold more stock than they bought.
在过去一年中,内部人士净卖出了CTS Corporation(纽交所:CTS)的股票。
While we would never suggest that investors should base their decisions solely on what the directors of a company have been doing, we do think it is perfectly logical to keep tabs on what insiders are doing.
CTS Insider Transactions Over The Last Year
The Senior Vice President, Martin Baumeister, made the biggest insider sale in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for US$300k worth of shares at a price of US$52.39 each. So what is clear is that an insider saw fit to sell at around the current price of US$51.89. We generally don't like to see insider selling, but the lower the sale price, the more it concerns us. Given that the sale took place at around current prices, it makes us a little cautious but is hardly a major concern. Martin Baumeister was the only individual insider to sell shares in the last twelve months.

Insider Ownership Of CTS
Many investors like to check how much of a company is owned by insiders. We usually like to see fairly high levels of insider ownership. It appears that CTS insiders own 2.2% of the company, worth about US$36m. While this is a strong but not outstanding level of insider ownership, it's enough to indicate some alignment between management and smaller shareholders.
