Consumer stocks also fell, as sentiment was soured by weaker-than-expected China retail sales data for November. $ANTA SPORTS(02020.HK)$ dropped 4.8%, $CHINA RES BEER(00291.HK)$ was off 2.1% and $MENGNIU DAIRY(02319.HK)$ declined 0.5%. The $Hang Seng Index(800000.HK)$ closed 0.9% lower at 23420.76.
