The U.S. Economy is Great and Strong! (Oct 2022)
Although food prices rise 11.4% over the past one year, with egg price up 39.8%, flour up 23.3% and even milk up 17% (*1, *2), it does not stop the U.S. economy from getting stronger.
Also, the unemployment rate went down to 3.5% in Sep 2022 and payrolls rise by 263,000, beating the average estimates of 250,000 (*3).
Besides higher food inflation and low unemployment, U.S. also sees private payrolls rose by 208,000, better than the 200,000 forecast by Reuters (*4).
