$BHP Group Ltd(BHP.US)$ slightly dropped 0.46% and $BHP Group Ltd (BHP.AU)$ declined 2.67% last week. BHP alongside $Lundin Mining Corp(LUN.CA)$ announced their intentions on last Monday evening to collaboratively procure $Filo Corp(FIL.CA)$. The acquisition is valued at approximately 4.1 billion Canadian dollars (CAD) ($2.96 billion), translating to CAD 33 for each share of Filo. This valuation signifies a premium of roughly 32% over Filo Corp.'s 30-day volume-weighted average share price on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) as of July 11. Additionally, BHP Group Ltd is reportedly looking to sell its Brazilian copper and gold assets, according to Bloomberg. Following a strategic assessment of these assets, BHP Group Ltd has reportedly engaged ANZ.US to facilitate potential sale discussions. Neither BHP Group Ltd nor Banco Santander responded to this. By the way, BHP will release its earnings report before the market open on August 27 (AEST).

1) A few weeks ago KAP announced that Kazakhstan is increasing prod cost of 40% of 🌎 uranium production because they want more revenue for their country (understandable) => increases production cost for KAP and the JV partners Orano, CCJ, Uranium One, CNNC, CGN => production cost curve of uranium sector increases => seller asks a higher sell price => uranium price increases
2) uranium LT price continues to increase based on fundamentals, while uranium spotprice today is only ~5% higher than LT price
3) No back up stockpile anymore to solve 🌎primary supply deficit => significantly higher upside pressure on spotmarket in upcoming high season
@CyberMongrel: Mining stocks in Oz tanking hard, down by a whopping 2.2%! Hitting rock bottom since Nov 4 last year. Iron ore prices weak as a kitten, dragging down the sub-index for the FIFTH day straight. $BHP Group Ltd (BHP.AU)$ and $Rio Tinto Ltd (RIO.AU)$ feeling the pinch, diving 2.3% and 2.7% respectively. Ouch, looks like miners need a pick-me-up pronto!
-$Intel (INTC.US)$ Buzzing Stars ⭐⭐⭐
Intel were off more than 7% last week. Last Monday, Intel saw its big sell-off extend into a third session as the chip giant's stock fell more than 10% intraday to a 12-year low. Last Thursday, Moody's downgraded Intel's credit rating by one level in a report released, and shifted the semiconductor company's outlook from stable to negative. Although Intel still holds an investment-grade status, this demotion to a lower tier will affect its costs associated with borrowing.

Amazon slightly dropped 0.57% last week. Cathie Wood and ARK Invest were highly active last Monday, making significant purchases across their ETFs. The top buy was Amazon, with ARK acquiring 174,498 shares worth nearly $28.1 million. Additionally, according to Reuters, UK's Antitrust Regulator started probe into Amazon's AI partnership with Anthropic.

@RetireInStyle: continue accumulating, again, in my opinion, any price <400 is a fair value. I did extra buy whenever this is happening :)
@WolfRun: The week has been a disaster especially on Monday which caused so much panic. Those with a right mind took the opportunity to buy the dip. If you are one of them, with the right stocks, you should be able the reap some handsome profit down the road. On the last day of the week, almost flat when the market started to trade. But it is good to end with small profit for me.
