The purchase is expected to provide IOI with a steady stream of recurring income, as it will follow the successful business model of IOI malls and leverage the company's brand to offer a vibrant lifestyle experience filled with dynamic offerings. Meanwhile, Tropicana Corp has stated that the divestment will allow for the monetisation of its investment property, improving the group's cash flow position and reducing interest expenses.

$GHLSYS (0021.MY)$: Next week, trading in GHL Systems shares is set to be suspended after NTt Data Japan Corp secured 98.8% of GHL's shares through a takeover offer for the payments services provider. NTt Data has no intention of keeping GHL listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities, so Bursa Securities will suspend trading of GHL shares five market days from the extended closing date.

$UZMA (7250.MY)$: Uzma Bhd's Thai unit, MMSVS Group Holding Co Ltd Thailand, has been awarded a RM1900萬 contract by PTTEP Energy Development Company Ltd to provide infill well preparation services for offshore platforms. The one-year contract, valid until July 15, 2025, involves providing hydraulic workover unit equipment and services for infill well preparation on up to six of PTTEP’s offshore platforms in the Gulf of Thailand.

$ADVCON (5281.MY)$: Spring Energy Sdn Bhd, a 51% subsidiary of Advancecon Holdings, has signed a mining services agreement with Imerys Minerals Malaysia Sdn Bhd. Under the agreement, Spring Energy will provide a range of mining services including quarry development and maintenance, drilling and blasting, marble handling and processing, waste management, and environmental protection measures at the quarry site in Gunung Terundum, Johor.

$T7GLOBAL (7228.MY)$: T7 Global has secured a letter of award from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd to provide a low-cost jack-up drilling rig. The contract is for the Petronas Carigali Plug and Abandonment programme, but the contract price has not been disclosed. T7 Global's unit, Tanjung Offshore Services Sdn Bhd, received the letter of award.
