Notion: Be Greedy When Others Are Fearful
Notion has declined by more than 40% from its all time high of RM2+ despite its extremely strong quarter 2 results ( judging from revenue snd EPS) and favourable industry prospects. As such, the drop in the price of Notion appears to have been driven by panic selling (given that there has been no deterioration to the fundamentals of the company whatsoever)
As value investors, the saying that one should not catch a falling knife is not entirely accurate. Instead, what is important is that we consider whether the price is low enough so as to justify the purchase of the stock (despite the risks of further downside to the stock price) through analysing the business model and the company’ s financial reports/prospect.
