Market analysts suggest the high demand could stem from a 12-year hiatus in private residential developments in Woodlands, the last being in 2012. $新郵政 (S08.SG)$ has introduced a new initiative to assist SME suppliers in their sustainability efforts, particularly in meeting increasing climate-related reporting demands. This program aims to fill the expertise void in accurate carbon emissions reporting among SMEs, a crucial aspect of climate reporting. From January 1, 2025, all companies listed in Singapore will be required to make climate-related disclosures. The initiative is supported by a partnership between the Singapore Business Federation, SingPost, EY, and OCBC, which was solidified through a memorandum of understanding signed at the SingPost Centre on Friday.
