During the earning seasons, I will have to spend some time to really look into the financial reports of those companies that I have been targeting. The P&L statement and balance sheet would be what I would pay very close attention to. This will give me a clearer idea on what stocks I should be buying or selling. As for analyst reports, I would normally take them with a pinch of salt as I still prefer to go back to the original financial statements to make my own decisions. After all, it is our own money that we need to be responsible for and the analysts would not be the ones to ensure we will make any gains or not make any losses....
