Govt Survey: HK Apr Current Diffusion Index on Biz Receipts amongst SMEs Up to 48.3; Retail Trade Posts Biggest Hike
The Census and Statistics Department (C&SD) released today (May 12) the results of the Monthly Survey on Business Situation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) for April 2022. The current diffusion index (DI) on business receipts amongst SMEs increased notably from 31.7 in March 2022 in the contractionary zone to 48.3 in April 2022, whereas the one-month's ahead (i.e. May 2022) outlook DI on business receipts was 53.4. Analysed by sector, the current DIs on business receipts for all the surveyed sectors increased in April 2022 as compared with previous month, particularly for the retail trade (from 21.2 to 53.1) and restaurants (from 25.0 to 56.7).
政府統計處今日(五月十二日)公佈2022年4月中小型企業經營情況按月統計調查結果。目前中小型企業業務收益的擴散指數由2022年3月的31.7顯著上升至2022年4月的48.3，而未來一個月(即2022年5月)業務收益的展望擴散指數為53.4。按行業類別分析，統計調查所包括的行業類別在2022年4月的業務收益數字均較上月上升，其中零售業(由21.2升至53.1)及食肆(由25.0升至56.7)的升幅最大。
