(CSE: MRM) (OTCQB: MMTIF) ("Micromem" or the "Company") announces its intention to raise gross proceeds of up to $300,000 CDN (subject to an up to 50% increase at the discretion of the Company) through a non-brokered private placement of its common shares at $0.12CDN per share. Micromem has requested and received price protection from the Canadian Securities Exchange. The Company anticipates that it will use the proceeds for general working capital, including payment of outstanding debt. All securities issued pursuant to the Private Placement will be subject to a four-month holding period. The Private Placement remains subject to final regulatory approvals.
