Taronis Fuels Inc. said Thursday it appointed Mary Pat Thompson, former finance chief of MWI Veterinary Supply Inc., as its new chief financial officer and treasurer.

Taronis's former CFO, Tyler Wilson, will remain with the company as vice president, general counsel and secretary, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, strategic initiatives and transactions to accelerate organic growth, the company said.

Ms. Thompson was CFO of MWI Veterinary Supply from 2002 to 2015, during which she played a key role in bringing the company public on Nasdaq and executing 13 acquisitions totaling $962 million in revenue, the producer of renewable fuel products said.
