Sunway Pyramid is set to unveil Oasis, a reconfigured retail space spanning over 250,000 square feet across four levels, by the fourth quarter of this year. The new space stretches from the Orange Atrium to the Blue Atrium and is a key part of the mall's enhancement initiative to attract high-yielding tenants and boost foot traffic.

Oasis will host 100 tenants, increasing the mall's total tenant count to 1,000. Last year, Sunway Pyramid appointed Jaya Grocer as the anchor tenant for the redeveloped space, aiming to elevate asset yield through higher rents per square foot. Jaya Grocer, currently located at level B2, will relocate to a larger, permanent space with a new concept at LG2.

The reconfigured space is expected to significantly contribute to Sunway Pyramid's overall revenue and underscore the mall's evolution as Malaysia's leading retail destination.

Since 2022, the mall has implemented Malaysia's first internet-of-toilet system, enhancing toilet facilities into a smart system for customers and supervisors. The latest smart toilet addition, featuring a modern neo-Egyptian theme and located at Ground Floor in the Blue Atrium, includes a family room catering to parents with children and individuals with disabilities.

Other enhancements include an all-in-one interactive self-service kiosk with an easy-to-use interface, an enhanced Sunway Malls app, new escalators connecting the Blue to Orange Atriums from LG2 to F Floors, and electric vehicle and hybrid charging stations at CP2 and B1 Preferred Parking.

Looking ahead, the Terrace, an annexe adjacent to the iconic Lionhead and facing the New Pantai Expressway, is slated for completion by the second quarter of 2025. This addition will offer a nature-inspired environment and accommodate more high-yielding tenants, supporting Sunway Pyramid's goal to become the premier retail destination in the nation.
