The market closed at session highs Wednesday after AMD earnings pushed Semiconductors and Tech higher. The market generally pulled back on Tuesday.  Nvidia added $329B in market cap Wednesday, the most one-day addition in history for one stock.

Just past 4 pm the $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ climbed 1.58%, the $Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI.US)$ climbed 0.24%, and the $Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC.US)$climbed 2.64%.

The FOMC left rates unchanged Wednesday. Following the release, Powell said if all goes right the Fed will look to cut rates, "for example, if inflation was moving down quickly or in line with expectations, growth remains reasonably strong, and the labor market remains consistent with its current condition, then I would think that a rate cut could be on the table at the September meeting."

ADP nonfarm employment came out Wednesday, a precursor to overall non farm employment based on ADP employment tracking numbers. The firm said there was 122k added jobs.

In macroeconomic news, consumer sentiment numbers from CB came in at 100.3 vs  99.7 expected. Last month, they reported 97.8. JOLT's job opening numbers also came out at 8.184M vs  8.020M expected. Last month, JOLTS reported 8.230M.

This week, all eyes are on the FOMC, due to report its current strategy for competing inflation on Wednesday. Check out updates from moomoo live right as the FOMC report comes out at 2 pm ET, and the press conference afterward at around 2:30 pm ET.

Investors can watch for PMI data on Thursday and Nonfarm monthly payroll employment data on Friday. Investors will alkso await two more Mag 7 earnings reports:  $Apple (AAPL.US)$ and  $Amazon (AMZN.US)$ on Thursday, alongside a host of other $100B+ market cap giants.
