Icon Offshore has given update on a fatal incident that occured on its vessel, where on 2 August 2024 at approximately 10:30 p.m. at the Sapar Alpha platform near Bintulu, involving the vessel Icon Amara which resulted in two fatalities and one serious injury.

Icon assures that the vessel Icon Amara, along with its crew members are fully insured and it anticipates that the vessel will be restored to active duty following the completion of the investigation.
