Focus Universal Inc. (NASDAQ:FCUV) shares are trading higher Friday after an SEC filing revealed a large insider buy. Here's a look at what to know.

A Form4 filed Thursday shows Focus Universal CEO Desheng Wang purchased 302,100 shares at an average price of 18 cents per share.

Focus Universal shares are climbing on heavy trading volume Friday as investors digest the insider buy. According to data from Benzinga Pro, more than 155 million shares have already been traded in the session, compared to the stock's 100-day average of less than 254,000 shares.

Earlier this month, the company announced its new SEC financial reporting software that enables unmanned document processing which the company says is thousands of times faster than traditional manual methods.
